To select the right cable-in-conduit, match the conductor size and count to your motor HP, voltage, and run length. Common configurations include:
- Smaller motors (10–25 HP): #4 to #2 conductors
- Mid-range motors (30–75 HP): #1/0 to #4/0 conductors
- Large motors (100–200+ HP): #250MCM to #350MCM conductors
