The 2542-08023 Butterfly Valve Gasket x Spigot is an 8" PVC fitting that allows a butterfly valve to be incorporated directly into a surface irrigation gated pipe main line. The gasket end creates a pressure-tight seal without cement for fast assembly, while the spigot end solvent welds into standard 8" gated pipe fittings for a permanent, leak-free connection.
Designed for flow control, field shutoff, and system sectioning on 8" gated pipe irrigation systems — one of the most common main line sizes in surface irrigation.
